The Tate Gallery

The Tate Gallery at St Ives is an iconic building in itself, situated just 10 miles away, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Porthmeor beach in St Ives. It’s worth taking the park and ride from St Erth train station along the most beautiful short railway track in Cornwall, and strolling through the pretty cobbled streets of St Ives to take in the little independent art galleries in St Ives before arriving at the Tate. There is a cafe at the Tate or a lovely little cafe and restaurant on Porthmeor beach.

The train is Dog Friendly but the TATE is not dog friendly.  Many of the beaches in St Ives are not dog friendly in the Summer months so please check in advance.
