Porthleven Beach

Porthleven sits at the end of a small harbour town on the south coast, with a rugged beach exposed to Atlantic swells. The beach has a dramatic feel, especially in changing weather, and is popular with surfers and coastal walkers.

Part of Porthleven beach is dog friendly all year round, while the west part of the beach (nearest the town) has seasonal restrictions (1st July – 31st August 10am – 6pm). The beach and surrounding paths are excellent for scenic walks for you and your dogs.

Facilities in Porthleven are extensive, with parking, toilets, cafes, and restaurants all within walking distance. The harbour area is known for its food scene with an excellent range of dog friendly options along with fine dinning. The popular Porthleven Food Festival takes place here every year, usually in April.
