TREMENHEERE SCULPTURE GARDENS

Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens are a highly recommended visit, to meander through the woods with rare plants and trees, taking in the prestigious RHS Chelsea Gold medal winning designs and sculptures. It is nestled on a South facing slope overlooking Mounts Bay and St Michaels Mount and is only 8 miles from us, near Penzance. The onsite cafe/restaurant is also highly recommended for its delicious lunches and cakes.

PARADISE PARK

Just over 4 miles away is Paradise Park and Jungle barn, which is great for families with younger children, especially if the weather is dull. The Wildlife sanctuary with indoor play centre offers free flying displays in the Summer, feeding the little parrots, and close encounters with Penguin photocalls.

CORNISH SEAL SANCTUARY

The Cornish Seal sanctuary at Gweek, is the local seal ‘hospital’ for injured or sick seals and pups. The Sanctuary is set in the picturesque Helford Estuary, by the beautiful village of Gweek and has over 60 years experience in Seal Rescue, Rehab, and Release back into the wild. It’s worth a visit to see what they do, and its only 12 miles away from here.
