Welcome to Oak Cottage, a stunning modern holiday cottage in Cornwall, situated in the Woodland Collection, a group of very dog friendly holiday cottages near Hayle. Oak cottage has three bedrooms each with their own en-suites, sleeping up to 6 with room for up to 4 dogs. Open plan living downstairs is convenient and a modern high end finish makes the cottage comfortable to live in. There are easy to clean Karndean floors throughout, granite worktops and warm leather sofas.
Upstairs each of the three bedrooms are tastefully decorated with each bedroom having smart TVs, charging ports for your phones and en-suites with a large walk-in shower, heated towel rails, and underfloor heating. Bedroom 1 has a double bed en-suite with a Juliet balcony with far ranging views overlooking the wildflower meadows towards St. Ives. Bedroom 2 has a king sized bed, en-suite and two windows overlooking the National Trust Godolphin Hill. Bedroom 3 has two small single beds (6ft x 2ft 6).
The cottages have been designed from scratch to be as dog friendly as possible, warm outdoor showers in the garden prevent mud being trekked inside after a walk through our wildflower meadows and our own slice of Cornish Woodland. There are two enclosed dog parks on-site, our Bark Park dog agility course, open to the public and bookable through our website along with our private dog exercise paddock, exclusive for use by our guests. Each are fully enclosed by 1.5m high fences with close knit rails for even the smallest dogs.
Oak cottage is situated next door to Holly cottage and both cottages can be booked by friends and families for larger gatherings. The gate between the gardens can be opened up to create a lovely large outside hosting space for your group. Oak cottage enjoys a view out of the side of the house of the orchard and like the other cottages beautiful country views across the valley.
