Marazion and Long Rock form a long stretch of beach along Mounts Bay, offering uninterrupted views of St Michael’s Mount. The shoreline is a mix of sand and shingle, and the area feels open and expansive. It is well suited to long, flat walks with plenty of space.
Dogs are allowed on large sections of Long Rock Beach all year round, while parts of Marazion Beach have seasonal restrictions during the summer months (1st July – 31 August, 10am – 6pm). Outside peak season, the entire stretch becomes a popular dog friendly walking route with views across the bay.
Facilities include parking at both Marazion and Long Rock, along with cafes, toilets, and shops nearby. The coastal path and promenade-style walking make this area particularly accessible, and the flat terrain is ideal for relaxed dog walks.
