Welcome to Holly Cottage, a dog friendly holiday cottage in Cornwall with space for up to 6 guests and 4 dogs. Holly Cottage is situated at the Woodland Collection near Hayle, within a small group of five modern holiday cottages set on a 36 acre private estate in the heart of Cornwall. Holly Cottage has been designed to be very dog friendly both inside and outside, with enclosed gardens that are both ideal for your dog and enjoyable to spend time in. There are warm outdoor showers to wash off muddy paws and easy clean wood effect floors throughout the open plan living space downstairs.
Upstairs each of the three bedrooms are tastefully decorated with smart TVs in each bedroom, charging ports for your phones and en-suites with a large walk-in shower, heated towel rails, and underfloor heating. Bedroom 1 has a double bed en-suite with a Juliet balcony with far ranging views overlooking the wildflower meadows towards St. Ives. Bedroom 2 has a king sized bed, en-suite and two windows overlooking the National Trust Godolphin Hill. Bedroom 3 has two small single beds (6ft x 2ft 6).
On the farm we have two fenced dog play parks, one is free and exclusively for our guest’s use. Wildflower meadows lead down to a small woodland area at the bottom of the valley, perfect for walks from the doorstep without having to get in the car. When you want to take a longer walk there are dog friendly National Trust properties nearby, along with three all year round dog friendly beaches within a 15 minute drive of the farm.
Holly cottage is next to Oak Cottage, and their gardens can be opened up to allow for larger group bookings with friends and family. Other facilities on-site at the Woodland Collection include a cafe, plant nursery, private games room and our very own bark park.
